  1. Race
    1. Estonian Dryland Cup is Estonian sleddogs sprint race serie.
    2. Stages will be held using IFSS race regulations and regulations of EDC.
    3. The aim is to popularize sleddog sport.

  4. Races and distances
    1. In every stage, race trail, training trail and children trail will be opened.
    2. Race trail can vary between classes.
    3. Race trail length is 3-5 km.
      1. In case of temperature higher than 16°C half an hour before race starts, the trail will be shortened.
    4. Training trail length is 3-5 km and usually it is the same as race trail.
    5. Children trail length is usually 0.5-1 km.
  5. Starting times
    1. Starting times vary between stages. It will be announced on stage website.
    2. Race trail starting queue is based on season last stages results, participant with better result will start earlier.
    3. 1. stage start list will be based on 2018. season results.
    4. Usually are training starts after race starts.
    5. Usually are children starts after training starts.
  6. Race and age classes
    1. In race trail, following classes will be opened:
      1. DB OPEN – bikejoring one-dog;
      2. DB RNB – bikejoring one-dog (nordic breed class);
      3. DC – canicross one-dog;
      4. DS1 OPEN – scooter one-dog;
      5. DS1 RNB – scooter one-dog (nordic breed class);
      6. DS2 OPEN – scooter two-dogs;
      7. DS2 RNB – scooter two-dogs (nordic breed class).
    2. In stage's race classes DB OPEN, DB RNB, DC, classes can be split by gender, if at least one splitted class have five or more participants:
      1. DBM OPEN - men;
      2. DBW OPEN - women;
      3. DBM RNB - men;
      4. DBW RNB - women
      5. DCM - men;
      6. DCW - women.
    3. In stage's race classes DBM OPEN, DBW OPEN, DBM RNB, DBM RNB, DCM, DCW, DS1 OPEN, DS1 RNB classes can be split by age, if at least one splitted class have five or more participants:
      1. J – juniors (14-18 y, bikejoring 16-18 y);
      2. E – elite;
      3. V – veterans (40 or more y).
    4. In training class, there are no additional classes opened.
    5. In children trail, followng classes will be opened:
      1. DCK1 – children (up to 9 y) canicross one-dog;
      2. DCK2 – children (10-13 y) canicross one-dog;
  7. Registration
    1. Signing up for stages is opened:
      1. in drylandestonia.ee, using bank transfer;
      2. to following stages in race site, paying by cash;
      3. in race site, it is possible to sign up for same day training trail, paying by cash.
    2. Signing up on the internet
      1. When signing up on the internet, it has to be followed that the fee is based on regulations. If wrong registration plan will be used (2. start plan instead of 1. start plan), the missing fee has to be paid to start on race.
    3. Re-registration
      1. To change racing class or other information, it is possible to re-registrate when sending email to info@drylandestonia.ee until Sunday one week before race day at 23.59. There will be no re-registration later.
      2. When switching to higher fee start (e.g. 2. start will be replaced with 1. start), the missing fee has to be paid to start on race.
    4. When cancelling the participation, no fees will be refunded.
    5. In case of stage cancelling or postponing more than 24 hours by force majour (also temperature problems), registration fee will be refunded by 50% if participant has sent request for refund to info@drylandestonia withing two weeks of planned race day.
  8. Starting fee
    1. Starting fee contains marked trail, bib number for full season, manual or technical timing, best participants awarding and online-diploma if finished correctly.
    2. Registration for stage's race and children classes will end on Sunday one week before race day at 23.59.
    3. Registration for stage's training class will end on Sunday one week before race day at 23.59, but continues on race day according to programme.
    4. Organser can extend registration periods.
    5. Definitions:
      1. First start – participant's first start on stage.
      2. Second start – participant's second start on stage, if participant has at least one first start registrered on stage.
      3. Children start – Children trail start.
      4. Training start – Training trail start.

    10. When participating in Estonian Dryland Weekend, participation for last stage, EDC Koeru, is discounted for 50%.
      1. To get discount, the registration for Estonian Dryland Weekend has to made first, with selecting product "Participate in same class in "EDC Koeru".
  9. Requirements for dogs
    1. All racing dogs have to be healty and vaccined.
    2. Dog age on race day has to be at least:
      1. 5 months in training or children trail;
      2. 12 months in canicross;
      3. 18 months in bikejoring or scooter.
    3. When participating in RNB class, the dog has to have FCI / Eesti Kennelliidu breed certification.
      1. Dogs without breed certification will participate in open class.
    4. Every dog can race maximum twice on race trail.
    5. During stage, no dogs can be switched.
    6. During race day, random dog check will be made. In request of organiser, participant has to provide valid dog veterinary passport.
  10. Race equipment
    1. Participant has to wear running belt attached to harness at least one running line.
    2. To rent race equipment for stage, it has to be marked on signing up.
    3. Dog harness has to support body.
    4. When racing at night, working headlight is mandatory and reflectors in dog harness and running line are recommended
    5. Helmet is mandatory in bikejoring and scooter classes.
  11. Important rules
    1. Participants have to value honest and clear sport. In races, Estonian antidoping rules are in force.
    2. It is allowed to start only with correct name.
    3. In race site (event centre and trails) it is mandatory to follow traffic regulations, traffic regulators, traffic signs and other requests by organisers. The trails will remain open during races.
  12. Responsibility
    1. Every participant agrees with participation that (s)he is responsible for him-/herself and participating dogs well-being and follow EDC and IFSS regulations fully.
    2. Every contestant is responsible for her/his own safety and safety against co-participants.
    3. All participants underage are in race site in parents or carer responsibility.
    4. If SportIdent timing chip is given, it has to be returned before awarding. When not returned, the penalty is up to 150€.
    5. When losing season bib number it is possible to replace it paying penalty fee of 5€.
  13. Markings
    1. Trails will be marked by marks that meet the standards of IFSS regulation and EDC own marks.
      1. Blue square - move straight
      2. Red circle - based on location of the centre of trail, turn to right or left.
      3. Yellow triangle - dangerous part
      4. Double yellow triangle - dangerous area begin and ends with yellow triangle crossed with red line.
      5. Green square - timing point ahead where it is recommended to move close to trail edge.
  14. Results and timing
    1. To get result, the participant has to pass full trail and has to be sure that bib number is visible from start till finish.
    2. In EDC stages manual or technical timing with SportIdent timing system will be used.
    3. Preliminary results of stage will be published as soon as possible on race website.
    4. Stage' classes top three results will be confirmed before awarding. Other results will be confirmed during one week after race day.
    5. Notices of mistakes in finish protocol (not classes top threes) will be accepted until end of the race day via email info@drylandestonia.ee.
    6. Season results will be updated within one week of race day. In season last stage, season results will be updated before awarding.
    7. Result dispute proceedure is set in IFSS race regulations.
    8. When participating in EDC Koeru and in Estonian Dryland Weekend, EDW Koeru stage result will be counted on both races.
  15. Ranking
    1. Every participant will receive points for every finished stage.
    2. If participant races multiple times in same class, only the highest points will be added to ranking table.
    3. To get season result 3 of 4 stages has to be finished.
    4. Points will be given on following classes: DB, DC, DS1, DS2, DCK1, DCK2.
    5. Opened additional classes (e.g. men,women, veterans, juniors, RNB, OPEN) will not be separated in ranking.
    6. Stage 1. place will receive 100 point. Every next participant will receive 90% of points that one-place-better participant received. Points will be rounded to integrer.
  16. Awarding
    1. Awarding ceremony will be held in every stage after starts according to the programme.
    2. With medal and prize, DB OPEN, DB RNB, DC, DS1 OPEN, DS1 RNB, DS2 OPEN, DS2 RNB, DCK1, DCK2 classes top threes will be awarded.
    3. In last stage of EDC, season awarding ceremony will be held and top three participants of classes DB, DC, DS1, DS2, DCK1, DCK2 will be awarded.
  17. Additional information
    1. Directions to race site, parking and stake-out information and other important information is provided on stage website.
    2. All information is available on drylandestonia.ee.
    3. Regulations can be changed by organisers if necessary.
  18. Participant's privacy
    1. Participant is obligated to provide correct data when signing up.
    2. Data from domains drylandestonia.ee, edc.ee and spordicom.ee and its' subdomains is managed and secured by Spordicom MTÜ.
    3. Provided data will be used when organising the race and sending emails.
    4. Data will be saved secured unlimited time.
    5. Minimal data of participant will be included in public start and finish lists.
    6. Participant can request deletion of his/her data.
      1. Request will be checked within one month.
      2. In request the participant has to identificate him-/herself.
      3. When deleting personal data, data in startlist and finish protocolls will remain public.
      4. With deleting personal data, all following registrations will be cancelled. Fees that remain unused will not refunded.
